Description:

My kingdom is at hand.

Meaning: The words “My kingdom is at hand” is from the words of St. John the Baptist: “Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand.”

Isolation leads to contemplation, when God opens our eyes to the truth about ourselves, others and the world. God begins fishing us out of the depths of sin. If the first step is freedom from the outside world, this is not about interior freedom. He gives us the grace of repentance which a continuous process of:

  1. Confession – recognize and admit your sins. This is when you understand what it means when God is present or absent in you and around you.
